How to crack an egg for the perfect omelet.

Born in Sonoma, California, I’ve always been fascinated by media and pop culture.

It was only a matter of time before I would aspire to become involved in the film industry.

I began story telling with writing short stories in school, then graduated to poetry where I remained

until misfortune decided to steal a decade of my life. What began as a mental health crisis led to years of homelessness and misery.

But there’s opportunity even in the worse of times. I learned survival, humility, and how to be resilient,

all while observing and interacting with my fellow unhoused.

It was in my thirties when I finally found peace and a passion for education.

I began studying acting, which I fell in love with, then voice, in which I learned how to sing.

As I settled into Cerritos College, I gradually became involved in the film program,

taking classes ranging from storyboarding to cinematography.

I found my calling when I took screenwriting for the first time.

The script format was a natural fit for my stories thrived with lively dialogue, and surreal plots and realistic characters.

With a determination to write my own stories, those which I wanted to see on the screen,

I achieved an Associate’s in Art and Science, both of which were in film production and theory.

Currently, I’m a student at California State University Long Beach, studying for a Bachelor’s in screenwriting.

I currently live in Downey, California.
